A Snowstorm Is Reported On Terry Peak!

Posted by: Linda Derosier - 12/09/2012 3:06 PM (Winter Fun)

With the the cold temperatures the snowmakers are putting out some huge whales!!  They have been working on Surprise and Snowstorm and are doing their best to get them opened for this upcoming weekend. It's amazing what a few good days of freezing temperatures will do for snowmaking.
Sunday was cold but the snow was great on Stewart Slope.  Terry Peak will be closing Monday through Friday and will reopen next weekend.  Stay posted for details on what trails will open.
Pick up your season pass at the Guest Service building.

I know it may be hard to say at this point but, any idea when the mountain will be open on Fridays?

Our family of four was there Saturday for some great skiing and looking forward to being back next weekend!

When can we expect the entire mountain to be open?

Posted by: Jacob Wise - Dec 11, 2012 5:00 PM

We are now open daily, and we will open the other sections of the mountain as soon as we have enough snow cover. With only having 17 inches of natural snow since November 1st, it's amazing that we are open at all. Kudos to the snowmakers!!!
