Wharf-Terry Peak Expansion Project

Black Hills Chair Lift Company and Wharf Resources/Gold Corp have partnered to prepare for exciting improvements and changes at Terry Peak Ski Area. Over the next ten (10) years you will see gradual changes to the face of Terry Peak. The most exciting improvement is replacing the Empress double Chairlift with a New High-Speed Doppelmayr Detachable Quad Chairlift, which will occur this upcoming summer. This new chairlift is provided to Terry Peak from Gold Corp and will bear the name the Gold Corp Express.

With the partnership of Gold Corp and Black Hills Chair Lift Company and the conclusion of this project, the future of Terry Peak Ski Area is very bright. The concept of offering a year-round, full-scale indoor/outdoor recreational resort for the residents and visitors to our area could be the most exciting change Terry Peak will ever undergo.
