Kussy Express is open, just in time for Christmas!

Posted by: Linda Derosier - 12/20/2010 11:46 AM (Winter Fun)

Make plans to ski at Terry Peak over your Christmas break. We have been making snow on Kussy and Ben Hur, plus it sounds like we might get some more natural snow this week.  We have opened the Kussy Express Lift Wednesday, December 22!  Open Christmas Eve Day & Christmas Day!  Stay posted right here for updates as they become available.

The terrain park brings in huge revenue for you guys every year and the bigger and better you make it more people will come. So make everything have a landing. Build the jumps Tall not long. and you should be good bringing in tons of eastern people that come to terry only for they're terrain park and nothing else. make it happen! i have faith that it can happen it just needs to get going!

Thanks for the comments averagejoe. We understand completely that the Terrain Park is very important. However, please understand that getting the Kussy Express going for Christmas week is every bit as important if not more so. Rest assured that we are planning for a great Terrain Park with a Half-pipe, and will work towards that goal as Mother Nature will allow.

It's about time Kussy opened. I'm getting tired of Surprise. They need to work on Empress now. I hope avalanche opens soon.

The mountain is not open until you can cruse the Kuzz IMO. Thanks for concentrating on getting terrain open to disperse the crowds and help with safety.

Congrats on getting Kussy open! I know this year has been tough weather-wise, and those of us with season passes really appreciate the hard work opening up additional lifts and runs. I would like to echo about jumps in the terrain park. That is probably one of my favorite things, not that I would sacrifice it for more mountain being open. I am really looking forward to a lot more tall, clean jumps with no rails or boxes behind them. Again, thanks for the hard work.
