Terry Peak would like to Welcome our "New" Lift Maintenance Supervisor, Steve Durham!

Steve comes to us after 30 years of lift maintenance experience from Big Sky & Moon Light Basin Ski Resorts in Montana.
Since this past May, Steve and the lift crew has been busy detailing all of the lifts, plus the detachable quads and the Stewart Lift have received  a fresh coat of paint!   The notorious "Red" Empress Chairlift will remain Red for this season, and is ready to operate as usual, weather permitting.

Empress needs to turn into an 'express lift' in my opinion. I LOVE that side of the mountain when we get fresh snow because it produces the best pow runs, but the lift itself is so slow that it deters me and a lot of others from going on that side of the mountain often so Kussy and Surprise get packed as a result. I think the Terry crew should seriously look at and consider upgrading Empress into an express lift, you'd see a lot more traffic on that side of the mountain and it would make a lot of us boarders/skiers more happy.
