Wednesday a Polar Bear Was Spotted at Terry Peak!

The South Dakota Special Olympics brought their mascot to Terry Peak.  The bigger than life Polar Bear could be seen at the Stewart Slope.
Get Ready, Get set, Go, to the Terry Peak Riders Cup.  Get your team of three (3) together and come up to race for the "Cup"!   Win your teams legendary placement on the Riders Cup Trophies in the Dark Horse.  Many Door prizes plus the Grand Door prize is a pair of Nordica Igniter Skis - so one lucky person will take them home.   Sponsors are; Budweiser, Peak Sports, Edges Sports & Coke-Cola.

is it just for skiers? or snowboarding to. there should be a race for snoboarding.

Well, technically, snowboarding is not an official Special Olympic sport, but...Terry Peak is awesome and we had 2 snowboarders race the intermediate course and both did very well!! Contact the national Special Olympic committee and petition that they include snowboarding!!
