This beautiful blue bird is a 1998 Kmax helicopter, specially designed for this type of heavy work as well as fighting fires. Brian Jorgenson (on the right) from Sand Point, ID is the owner and the pilot of the machine. He has been flying for 9 years, so he comes with plenty experience. Steve (on the left) his assistant and fuel man, drove the fuel tanker out from their Sand Point base. The operation was wrapped up by 9:00 AM and Brian flew away.
