The Christmas Blizzard!

Posted by: Linda Derosier - 12/26/2009 11:39 AM (Winter Fun)

Saturday AM, @ 10:30 - Due to the Blizzard, we got off to a slow start. Stewart Lift is now operating, Surprise Lift will be running as soon as they can get it dug out. Kussy Lift is still on wind hold, we will be watching it throughout the day.  We have received 28 - 36 inches of snow with very high winds, and it continues to snow. The blizzard is expected to continue throughout the day.  Stay Safe!

How come a lot of runs are still closed even though there's plenty of snow?

As always safety is our main concern, additional terrain will be opened as soon as we determine it is safe for our customers. Many factors go into opening each run. More terrain will open throughout the week.
