Terry Peak Ski Area offers skiing lessons for 6-12-year-olds and snowboarding lessons for 7-12-year-olds – an age group we call our “Sno Tigers.”
Online reservations will guarantee your lesson space. Online lessons can be booked 14 days prior to the arrival date. Walk-ins are based on availability only!

Snow Tiger Lesson ages 6-12 - Inclusive Lesson Packages
| Green Package | $99 | Intro to Skiing (ages 6-12) or Snowboarding (ages 7-12), BEGINNERS ONLY. Includes one 2-Hour Group Lesson, Equipment Rental with Helmet, and Beginner Area Lift Ticket (equipment & ticket good for the day). |
| Blue Package | $139 | Intermediate Refresher to Skiing or Snowboarding. Includes one 2-Hour Group Lesson, Equipment Rental with Helmet, and All Area Lift Ticket (equipment & ticket good for the day). |
Snow Tiger group lessons are scheduled at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. Students must be ready to go on the snow at their scheduled class time. Online reservations will guarantee your lesson space. Walk-ins are based on availability only!
- If your child wishes to leave the beginner area after the lesson, you can upgrade his or her ticket to All Area for only $25!
- Once the lesson is over, children need to be picked up promptly at 12:00 or 3:00.
- Late arrivals will not be allowed to join the lesson group once it has started.
- NO REFUNDS for late arrivals or no-shows.
Group Lesson ages 6-12 - A La Carte

Additional Information
- If your child already has the equipment and a lift ticket, you only need a 2-hour group lesson: one 2-hour Group Lesson – $59.
- On the weekdays, afternoon lessons are available from Monday – Thursday. These days, the instructors instruct school groups in the morning. * Please call and ask to be transferred to the ski school to inquire about morning sessions.
- All sessions are available during Christmas break.
- The package includes one 2-hour group lesson, plus the equipment and lift ticket (good for the entire day). Private and a la carte group lessons do not include equipment rental or lift tickets.
- Online reservations will guarantee your lesson space. Walk-ins are based on availability only!
- Please arrive at least one hour before your lesson time as equipment fitting, registration, potty breaks, etc., can take a bit of time. On weekends and holidays, we suggest you arrive at least two (2) hours early to ensure your placement.
- Please be prompt with child pick-up. Parents 15 minutes late or more will be assessed $10 for every 15 minutes past the pick-up time.
- Group snowboard lessons are not available for children six years old or younger.

The Ski School desk opens at 8:00 am. Check in at least one hour before the start of your lesson to allow time for getting your equipment assigned, then prepare to be on the snow at the start of the lessons. On weekends and holidays, we suggest you arrive at least two (2) hours early to ensure your placement.
