Adaptive Lessons
We are proud to have several instructors trained to teach students with special needs and/or disabilities.
Adaptive lessons are tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Providing a one-on-one experience for each student offers the best chance of a successful learning outcome.

Adaptive Lesson Request
If you are interested in adaptive lessons, we will begin by gathering some details to ensure we can provide the best options for you. Please complete the registration form, and the Terry Peak Ski School will contact you to collect any additional information, provide a price quote, and schedule your lesson. Once the Ski School has reviewed the student’s specific needs, a quoted price will be provided prior to booking. If you have questions, please call 605-584-2165 and select option 2 for the Ski School. Lessons are in high demand, so we encourage you to book early for the best availability. For special equipment and instructional needs, please allow at least two weeks’ notice to accommodate your request. Please note that lesson times are not confirmed until payment has been received.
ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT: We have partnered with a local non-profit organization, ABLE SPORTS, to provide specialized adaptive equipment (sit-ski, snow cart, stander, etc.).
