Employees are expected to present themselves professionally, follow uniform standards, adhere to company policies and procedures, and support Terry Peak’s core values.
Our team members thrive in a fast-paced environment during busy periods while remaining motivated and productive during quieter times. Because weekends and holidays are the busiest times of the ski season, employees must be available to work these peak periods and be flexible with scheduling, including irregular hours in some departments.
Every Terry Peak employee serves as an ambassador for the ski area, creating memorable experiences and striving to exceed our guests’ expectations every day.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation varies by position and department and is based on the skills and experience required. Specific wage information will be discussed during the interview process with the hiring supervisor.
Eligible employees receive valuable benefits, including employee and dependent season pass privileges as outlined in the Terry Peak Employee Handbook. Employee season passes also include discounts on food, retail purchases, rentals, and lessons.

Terry Peak Ski Area is in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, minutes from the historic cities of Deadwood and Lead.
