Terry Peak is hiring honest, hard-working individuals who exhibit a high level of integrity and demonstrate positive communication skills. Employees need to be willing to appear professional and adhere to uniform requirements. Be able to follow company procedures and policies and support core values. Terry Peak employees need to be able to handle a fast-paced work environment and exhibit a self-starter work ethic during slower days. Weekends and holidays are very high-traffic times for the ski industry; therefore, employees need to be willing to work during these times and be flexible to work irregular hours in specific departments. All Terry Peak employees are ambassadors for the ski area and must strive to exceed the guests’ expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation varies for each department and is based on the experience of the offered position. Compensation needs to be discussed with the potential supervisor.
All positions at Terry Peak are eligible for employee and dependent season pass privileges based on the Terry Peak Employee Handbook criteria. Employee season passes offer skiing privileges and discounts on food, retail, rentals, and lessons.

The Black Hills of South Dakota
Terry Peak Ski Area is in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, minutes from the historic cities of Deadwood and Lead. Deadwood is famous for its exciting Wild West past and features museums presenting fascinating history. The fun never ends with a year-round list of events and entertainment venues. Lead boosts the bountiful history of the famous Homestake Gold Mine, now known as the Sandford Underground Research Lab, for the study of Neutrinos.
