Located in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota

Terry Peak is located in the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota, just five miles from the town of Lead and eight miles from the historic gaming town of Deadwood. Along with awesome skiing, the region also offers some of the best snowmobiling in the country along 365 miles of marked and groomed trails. Winter enthusiasts also enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing throughout the pine forests of the hills. Die-hard adventurers can find a thrill ice climbing on select waterfalls in the Spearfish Canyon area, just minutes from the ski area. After the slopes, hit the slots of Historic Deadwood. With 24/7 gaming, live table games, Wild West history and entertainment options, your après-ski in Deadwood will never be dull. Sturgis, home to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, is just 22 miles away and offers a variety of shopping, dining and one of the most extensive motorcycle museums in the area.

The Black Hills is also home to an abundance of family attractions, as well as state and national parks. Within an hour drive or so you can visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial, Wind Cave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monument, all open year-round. You can enjoy outdoor ice-skating, shopping and dining in Main Street Square in Rapid City or watch the free-roaming buffalo of Custer State Park, all located within a two-hour drive of Terry Peak.
